I have attempted to use the remove public folders powershell commands, connected to OWA and attempted to remove it, connected an outlook client to it and attempted removal all with no luck. Now I am trying to decommission the old server and I am unable to complete the uninstallation of Exchange 2010 due to data still being in the public folders, however I am unable to purge this data. The new DC is working fine, FSMO roles all transferred and the network can work without being able to contact the old server, emails now on a cloud service.
